FitAI Studio, sold as TryItOn, lets shoppers preview clothing on their own photo and lets brands generate product imagery. This page says exactly what we collect, what we do with it, where it is kept, and how to have it removed.
Effective date: 1 November 2026
What we collect
Account details. When you sign up we store your email address, a display name and an optional profile picture (from your email sign-up, Google or Lovable sign-in), your role, your credit balance and your plan status.
Photos you give us. The photo of yourself you upload for try-on, and the garment, product or model photos you upload or import.
What we generate. Try-on results, colour variants, lookbooks, captions and the records that go with them: which garment was used, which model ran, how many credits it cost, and when.
Usage data. Which pages and features you open, generation history, errors, and — for business accounts — the API requests made with your keys.
Billing data. Order identifiers, amounts in INR, credit changes, and the GST details you type when you ask for an invoice.
We do not ask for, and do not store, your card number, UPI PIN, password or bank login. Payments are handled by the payment gateway.
How we use it
To run the try-on you asked for and keep your gallery, history and credits in the right place. To charge credits and issue invoices. To protect the service — spot abuse, stop shared-account resale, and keep the sign-up controls we use during testing. To email you about your account, credits or a purchase, and to reply when you write to us. To improve detection and quality, using aggregated counts rather than reading your photos.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your photos to train models of our own.
Where your photos are stored
Your portrait and garment photos, and the images we generate for you, are kept in private cloud storage that is only readable by your own signed-in account. Links to them expire and are not indexed by search engines.
Nothing you upload is public by default. A generation only becomes visible to others if you deliberately share it — for example by copying a result, or by posting it to your own social account from the extension.
AI processing
To produce a result, your photo and the selected garment photos are sent to Google's Gemini image models, which return the edited image. Google processes that content under the terms of the service we subscribe to, and we do not send them anything beyond the images and the written instructions needed for the edit.
AI previews are estimates. They cannot guarantee identical facial details, exact fabric behaviour or a true physical fit, so please check the retailer's size chart before ordering.
The browser extension
The TryItOn Chrome extension keeps your sign-in session and the portrait photo you choose to remember inside your own browser's extension storage — not on the shopping website you are visiting, and not in a place other extensions can read. Clearing the extension's storage, or removing the extension, erases that saved photo.
On a shopping page the extension reads public product information (title, images, price, product link) so it can show the garment beside your photo and hand you back to the original product. It does not read your cart, checkout fields, saved addresses, payment details, passwords or browsing history, and it does not record which pages you visited.
Nothing is generated and no credit is spent until you click Try it on. Purchase links in results point at the retailer's own product page; we are not involved in that order.
Store owners and the TryItOn button
The store button sends only the product reference the shopper picked to our studio, opened in a new tab under the shopper's own account. No store API key, catalogue password or customer list is ever placed in the shopper's browser.
If you use the merchant tools or the REST API, the images and catalogue rows you upload are stored against your business account so your team and your integrations can use them. API keys identify your account: anyone holding one can generate on your behalf, so keep them server-side and revoke them the moment a key leaks.
Payments, credits and invoices
Recharges and subscriptions are processed by Cashfree. We keep the order identifier, the amount, the credits granted and the outcome — enough to prove what you paid for and to refund it. Card, net-banking and UPI credentials go to Cashfree, never to us.
GST invoices store the business name, GSTIN, address and email you supply. Bank details on a business profile are visible only to our administrators, and only so refunds can be paid out.
How long we keep things
Your account, photos and generations stay while your account is open. During a restricted testing phase, accounts that go past the stay limit we published at sign-up are moved out of the platform; your content is deleted with the account.
Billing and invoice records are kept for as long as Indian tax law requires. Delete requests are carried out within 30 days of your email, and anything we must retain for accounting is kept separately from everything else.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us, any time, for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of your account and photos. Write to sales@fitai.studio from your registered email address and tell us which account you mean; we may ask one clarifying question to be sure we are deleting the right one.
You can also act yourself: delete a generation from your gallery, change your plan, revoke an API key, sign out of the extension, or clear the extension's saved photo from your browser.
Security, children and changes
Access to your data requires a signed-in session, and the rules that decide who may read a row are enforced in the database rather than in the page you see. Administrators are a small, named group, and their actions on credits and roles are recorded.
The service is not meant for children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and we delete an account if we learn it belongs to a child.
If this policy changes in a way that affects how we use your photos or share your data, we will say so on this page with a new effective date, and for material changes we will also email you.
Questions, a data copy, or a deletion request: sales@fitai.studio. What each plan costs and includes is set out on our pricing page.
